Carbohydrates in meat

12/15/2008

Question:

how many carbohydrates are in bologna

Answer:

There is an old saying:  Give a person a fish and they will eat for a day.  Teach that person to fish and they will eat for a lifetime.  What does that have to do with bologna?  It is more valuable for me to teach you how to find the answer for yourself than to give you the answer.  You would want to identify a reliable source for nutritional analysis of food.  Most packaged products found in the USA have a nutritional analysis printed on the package.  Alternatively, you could search the internet for a site which provides nutritional analysis - one of the most reliable would be from the US Dept of Agriculture.  Searching with a search engine, I found a web site http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/Data/HG72/hg72_2002.pdf
Let me suggest that you try looking up bologna at that web site.
