Sharp Upper Left Abdominal Pain01/15/2009 |
I am only 18 years old but for the last few weeks about once every few days I have been experiencing a sharp pain in the upper left half of my stomach. I thought it may have something to do with my caffine intake (energy drinks, coffee) but I`m not sure. The pain is not extremely severe, but more just highly uncomfortable. I might also add that the pain is a throbbing like pain and its uncomfortable to push on my stomach in that area. I am trying to determine whether I need to see a doctor or not. Please help. Thank you.
I would definitely see a doctor. You may have an ulcer, gallbladder problem or many other things which a few tests, examination will help to decipher.
