COPD and bloody phlegm12/29/2008 |
My mother (age: 85) has been diagnosed with COPD for 15 years. She has just started to have very bright pinkish phlegm when she coughs. I am taking her to the DR. ASAP. She ran out of her Advair this week. Could that be a contrbuting factor?
Running out of Advair could cause her to cough more than usual, but would not be the cause of the color of her sputum.
