Tongue bitterness

Question:

I had a root canal 12 years ago.There is a a little bump that appeared recently stuck to it in the lower jaw. Unfortunately,it caused me horrible bitter taste to the extent that even sweets tase so bitter. Please advise me what to do to get over this problem.

Answer:

You need to visit a dentist. It sounds like you are developing an abscess and it is now draining into the oral cavity.
