I am allergic to the Methylparaben preservitive in dental anesthesia. Can you please tell we which kind I can use for local anesthesia for a tooth extraction. Thank you
All dental local anesthetics in cartridges that the dentist uses (he or she may call them "carpules" but this is really a trade name) do not contain methylparaben as they are single-use only. Methylparaben is used in multidose vials. So, no worries when the cartridge is used.
