Oral Cancer

Red cluster of bumps under tongue - cancer?

01/29/2009

Question:

I went to have a biopsy today and was told by Dr no need for biopsy just salivary bumps. Great News but then what is it, not everyones salivary glands look like mine? They are directly under my tongue in front, floor of my mouth. They look like tiny red raspberries 5 of them. Perplexed thanks for your answer.

Answer:

It is not possible to list all the possible benign conditions that could cause your specific situation based up a description. It is best to follow up directly with your health professional such as an oral surgeon or ear, nose, throat surgeon for answers to your question.
