Fixed retainers: adult question02/16/2009 |
I am about to have a fixed retainer fitted behind my upper teeth, but I am concerned that the wire might cut my partner during oral intercourse. Is this worry justified? Thank you for your answer.
It is highly unlikely that you will injure your partner as long as the retainer feels smooth to your tongue. If it feels sharp to your tongue, you need to have the retainer checked.
