Teething problem02/16/2009 |
Hi, My son is 14 months old and his 1st tooth started coming through approx 3 months ago, however they are still not a quater of the way through yet. I read in a brochure in a doctors surgery that the teeth usually take 4 weeks to come through completley. Is this correct?
Thank you for the question. There is a great deal of variation not only in when teeth erupt, but also how long it takes them to fully come in.The best recommendation I can give you is to have a dentist examine your child; all children should have a dental exam by 12 months or eruption of the first baby tooth. Hope this helps.
