Night sweats02/24/2009 |
I am only 35 years old but my doctor told me that I am starting perimenopause. Besides my periods getting shorter and only lasting 2 days I have developed night sweats. I go to bed and feel cold becuase I have to heat turned down in my bedroom. But in the middle of the night I get very hot and takes all the bed close off of me and my PJ are wet with sweat. If I get night sweats will I get hotflashes too?
If the night sweats are due to perimenopause, they are the same thing as hot flashes. There are other causes of night sweats, however which I am sure your MD has already investigated.
