Abcess tooth after root canal done 1 year ago02/26/2009 |
I had a root canal done by endodonist 1yr ago. I currently have tenderness w/chewing. when I had my teeth cleaned last week I reported problem. The x-ray shows abcess to the same tooth. (last tooth lower rt side) I have no wisdom teeth. I believe this is tooth #31. Can you explain what could be cause and your suggesttion for treatment?
Because your tooth was treated by an endodontist, I would recommend that you schedule a follow-up with him/her. The person who performed the treatment would be best suited to evaluate your situation.
