White gums03/11/2009 |
I have noticed that my gums are turning white, but it is not all of them is just certain parts right under a certain tooth. Is there any products over the counter that I could use? Also, I heard that water and salt mix together is good?
Unfortunately, there is no such product. You need to determine what is happening before you try to treat it. You should go and visit a dentist. Salt+water mixture (if you know the right concentration) will work like a saline solution and can be helpful for temporary relief from swelling, but I do not recommend it in your case. White lesions can be as simple as dental plaque but can also be symptoms of a more serious problem. Please visit a dentist.
