03/09/2009

Question:

HI, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT MAKES MY TOUNGE BLEED WHEN I BRUSH . I DONT BLEED EVERYTIME. BUT WHEN I DO, IT IS ALOT. THE BLOOD IS VERY BRIGHT RED. I THEN NOTICE THAT IT IS A LITTLE HARD TO SOLLOW. THEN MY TOUNGE HURTS FOR A FEW DAYS LATER. THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Answer:

It would be impossible to say exactly what is going on, based on this description. You should make an appointment to see an oral pathologist so a thorough examination can be done. If there are no oral pathologists in your area, then you should see an oral surgeon.
