Sinus and dental implants

03/06/2009

Question:

I would like to know if there is any relationship between the sinusitis and a dental implant. I had a dental implant done a couple months ago and it seems that my sinusitis hit me more often than before.

Do you have any recommendation.

Thanks.

Answer:

They should be unrelated unless the implant is actually in the sinus cavity, which should not occur.
