Colon Cancer

Cancers of the Anus and Rectum

What causes malignant tumors of anus or rectum to bleed and do they bleed intermittently or persistently?

They can bleed for several reasons: thinned blood, firm stools, tumor cells eroding blood vessels, and can ooze continuosly or intermittently.
