Abdominal Pain and Unable to Eat or Drink03/12/2009 |
My sister received the lapband about 3 years ago. She has lost about 80lbs. Recently (within the last three months) she has been experiencing abdominal pain and has visited her doctor who says that nothing is wrong with her. Within the last week, the pains are increasing and she has been unable to eat solid foods and can only eat less than a 1/2 cup of soup. After she eats, the pain intensifies and takes a long time to subside. We have went back to her doctor numerous times but he keeps saying nothing is wrong. Please help!
I suggest you visit a gastroenterologist. It sounds like your sister needs an upper endoscopy.
