Liquid in lungs

04/07/2009

Question:

what are the kinds of food to be eaten to reduce the liquid in lungs

Answer:

If you are referring to pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs due to congestive heart failure or volume overload such as that seen with kidney or liver dysfunction) than it is important to follow a low-salt diet and avoid excessive fluid intake. Often times people are unaware of the salt content in foods, and it is helpful to discuss this with a registered dietician.
