if I had a root canal on #30 and the next day tongue is still tingling will it remain that way or will it get better with time
It should get better over time and will with the scenario you describe over 99% of the time. Give a week or two and you should notice less and less of your tongue tingling before it goes away. If after two weeks there should be no change in symptoms, you should contact your dentist, but if it is resolving, you may not need to. In any event, you should contact your dentist to let him or her know that this has occurred.
