I`m scared03/27/2009 |
I am a 25 year old female..i quit smoking back in October, i kept getting bronchitis and such. I haven`t been well since October..i keep getting the bronchitis back..and here recently..i got very sick with high fever and coughing. My doctor just found nodules on my lungs in a CT scan. do i need to worry about lung cancer?
Lung nodules are not uncommon and are usually benign. At your age, it would be unlikely to have lung cancer. I would recommend you see a pulmonary doctor or chest surgeon to follow the nodules with serial chest CT's.
