Kidney Cyst04/01/2009 |
I have had an ultrasound and it revealed a 12mm cyst on my kidney. I have been in considerable pain in my side and back, and have increased weight across my abdomen. I also have high blood pressure and fever, with headaches. I need to pass water frequently, including during the night. What procedure is the best to consider, as I am due to marry in 7 weeks time, and will need to have private treatment quickly. Thanks for your answer.
The cyst on the kidney is a normal finding. Your other symptoms warrant being seen by your doctor for an evaluation. It would be worth checking a urine to be sure there is no infection. It would be unlikely for the renal cyst to be the source of your symptoms and fever.
