Can a 83 year old woman have a period?04/10/2009 |
My mother in law says she is spotting, she is 83 yrs old, she is a bit strange and mental in my eyes and always looking for attention.
No, it is unusual for an 83 year old woman to be "spotting" blood from her vaginal area. If she is truly having vaginal bleeding, suggest your mother-in-law see her primary care health provider as soon as possible.
