Cystoscopy Question04/17/2009 |
Can a cystoscopy damage urethral sphincters and cause incontinence?
It would be unusual for cystoscopy to damage a sphincter to cause incontinence. You should discuss this with your physician who would also have your prior history (prior surgeries or trauma to water channel or urethra available) and could be more specific with the risks.
