Infection Without Symptoms
Dear NetWellness, If we had bacteria Pseudomonas (amount 200.000) based culture urine, but there`s no symptoms pain, should we need antibiotic? If doctor not give antibiotic, is this can effect to renal? Is it true cranberries can kill the bacteria?
Pseudomonas infection is a serious disease and has to be treated immediately. The source of infection should be determined. Sometimes renal stones are infected stones without any symptoms but majority are caused by Proteous. Occasionally urethral diverticulum can harbor infection without symptoms. See your urologist for detection of the source. It is true that cranberry juice changes the environment of urine and hence not suitable for few bacterias to grow in urinary tract.
