Beard dye04/17/2009 |
I used a beard dye recently and think I had a reaction to the dye but not sure...reason being ..I had contact dermatitis over my entire body even where the beard dye wasn`t even touching...and my beard wasn`t even as red,swelling or blistered at the contact point as it should of been . Can you have a systemtic reaction to the dye over your entire body , yet not an acute severe skin reaction at the point of contact (my beard)? Prednisone relieved the contact dermatitis immediately and I was back to normal in several days.
Yes. Hair dyes often spare the local area while causing a generalized reaction.
