How long can a Contrast reaction stay, Doctors say that in many cases it stays for 4 weeks, in worst case scenario how long can it stay.
Severe reactions to radiocontrast media occur within 5-10 minutes, Occasionally skin reactions occur hours later and may persist for days or weeks later. Rarely kidney involvement may occur and this can be a very serious complication.
