Lactating and breast cancer
My sister in law suffers from breast cancer -stage 4 which was diagnosed two weeks earlier until then she was feeding her child who is one year old ,so is it possible that the child also suffers from some type of cancer,or some tests of the child should be done to see that whether she is suffering from any kind of cancer.
Breast cancer can not be transmitted to infants through breast feeding. No special tests need to be done on the child if he/she is well.
