Chromium picolinate allergy

05/14/2009

Question:

Do you know if a person could be allergic to chromium picolinate? Thanks.

Answer:

I'm not sure. The chief allergic problems to chromium occur after contact with hexavalent chromium salts. I do not think that this chemical is in that category.
