Frequent Urination

Question:

For about two years now, I have had pretty severe issues with frequent urination. When it first started, I had to get up every 2-3 hours to urinate, but this problem became less of an issue during the day. During the past few months, the frequency has increased drastically. I sometimes have to urinate 4 times an hour or more.

I went to my doctor about this and a urine test and blood test was conducted. Neither showed disease or illness of the kidneys.

Here`s some of the things I have tried: Limited fluid intake - Caused dehydration and made problem worse. Stopped taking multi-vitamins - no effect. Stopped taking allergy medication (I have chronic ETD) - no effect.

What should I do?

Answer:

Urinary frequency can be caused by a variety conditions. I would suggest that you be seen by a urologist for evaluation.
