Question:

i am 33 years old.23 months back i got married.i conceived pregnancy 3 times.but in first trimester`end no heart beat is scanned.what is the reason ?what should i do now?

Answer:

Your condition is referred to as "Recurrent Pregnancy Loss." Although as many as 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage in women with no problems, approximately 2% of women will have two or more miscarriages. You should see a Reproductive Endocrinologist with special interest in this problem. A complete evaluation, which includes both blood tests and evaluation of your uterus, will find a specific cause at least 1/3 of the time. There are specific treatments that can be used when a cause is found and general treatments that can be used even when no cause is found. The chances of having a baby are extremely good for most women with this problem.
