Urine Smell

06/27/2009

Question:

I have noticed in the past 3 months or so that my urine smells strongly of burnt popcorn. What could cause this?

Answer:

Most urine that smells bad is a result of infection although some foods and vitamins can also cause this. If it persists you should see your medical provider and start with a urine culture.
