Hi, I am a 51 yr old female and have been having urinary frequency off and on since January. I have had 2 urine tests done and it showed leukocytes and microscopic blood but no urine infection. I have noticed tiny black specks in my urine off and on also. Do you have any idea what this could be?
I am not sure what the black specks are. I would suggest that you have a urine rechecked. It is important to be sure the black specks aren't blood. I would suggest that you be seen by a urologist for further reevaluation that may include cystoscopy.
