Taking Estrogen and Phytoestrogen Together07/21/2009 |
Hi,If I understand correctly taking estrogen and phytoestrogen together is not a wise thing. thank you
If you are taking a form of estrogen for menopause, a phytoestrogen is probably not necessary. These products are not regulated by the FDA and therefore the dose and safety of these products cannot be guaranteed. If you are asking if it is safe to eat soy products or vegetables that contain phytoestrogens, it is safe in normal serving sizes.
