Red Eye and High Pressure in Eye09/04/2009 |
I have seen two eye specialists because of excessive pressure and redness in one eye. It was first thought the onset of Glaucoma - but that has been ruled out. They need me now to do a MRI and MVA why and what are these tests. Any information will be appreciated.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a non-invasive technique for obtaining high resolution images of the body's internal structures.
From what you describe I would say that your doctors want you to have an MRI to determine if a mass is pressing on your eye or on your optic nerve.
