Bone Left After Extraction10/13/2009 |
Hi, I wear full dentures. There is a small piece of bone left sticking out of my bottom gum for years now. Dentists have said it`s better to leave it if it causes no problems but lately the tip is black and it is very sore and looks infected. Can you give me some idea what might be done to treat this? I have to wait 2 weeks to see my dentist. Thank you.
You should have it removed if it is sticking (poking) through your gum.
