if a person stop taking prednisone for mysathenia gravis, which is the main med for this disease, can that person die?
You should always talk with your treating neurologist about medication changes. Depending on the dosage of prednisone that the patient is taking and the severity of the MG, stopping the medicine abruptly could have very serious consequences -- including death.
