No Period and Not Pregnant10/06/2009 |
I`m 19 and havent had a period in 4 months except once i was given provera I think thats what it was from my health dept nurse. But I havent had one since, Im not pregnant. I am some what over weight, and under alot of stress, Could this be why I.m not having no periods, I quit taking the pill because of the weight gain.
Missing menstrual periods is a common problem. It can be due to a variety of causes: stress and weight gain are among them. Sometimes, missing menstruation can be due to significant health problems. If you go for more than 3 months without having a period, you should see a health care provider.
