Anal discharge after LIS & fissurectomy11/24/2009 |
I had a Lis & Fissurectomy just 7 days back, and was wondering: A) how long the rectum discharge would last. And, B) i have an pain with urgency when a BM is about to come..could it just be the internal stitches that hurt? I`m unable to control some of the bm as its real soft, is that normal too? Thanks much for your help.
You may see discharge for several weeks after this operation; if it looks like pus, however, see your surgeon to make sure you don't have an infection.
