Fibroid and Pregnancy10/13/2009 |
good morning, i am 37 yrs old had placenta previa completely blocked n had c-sec with healthy baby at 35th week, since feb 2009 taking 2.5mg envas tablet once in a day for high bp, have multiple fibroid - intramural n subserol- 3-5mm. my doc advised not to have second baby but at present i think i am pregnant. i need ur suggestion thanks u all
You have multiple problems that would make this pregnancy high risk:
- age over 35 increases risk for birth defects
- high blood pressure
- multiple fibroids (possibly with anemia
- history of placenta previa
- prior c-section.
If you believe you are pregnant, you should confirm this as soon as possible. If pregnant, you should schedule an appointment with your doctor soon to discuss the plan for the pregnancy to help minimize the risk and work toward the best outcome for you and your baby.
