Clitoris shrinking

10/27/2009

Question:

Im in my early 40`s and this year have realized that my clitoris is sort of shrinking or has gotten smaller. stimulation is still there but it does take a lot of work, is this normal for this age? during this time I used hydroxycut could this be the problem? thanks

Answer:

Some of the changes with age can include shrinking of the tissue of the vagina, including the clitoris, as well as a decrease in responsiveness. At 40, the hormone levels decrease but not necessarily low enough to cause significant changes in the structure and function of the vagina and surrounding tissues. You may want to be evaluated for the level of your hormones. As far as hydroxycut, since this is not an FDA approved or tested medication, I can't tell you what effects it could have on the vagina.
