PSA levels 6 weeks after radical prostatecomy11/16/2009 |
61 yrs of age, 3+4 gleason, psa 3.02 prior to surgery gleason score remaining same level in final patholgy. 3 postive margins including left bladder neck lymph nodes not removed no seminal visicle present although patholgy states not submitted in specimen. perineural invasion is present PSA 5 weeks after surgery 0.38 - urology appt in 5 weeks Thank you very much for your time and your expertise in this... I feel we should not discount that this may be more advanced than first thought and we should be agressive with adjuvant treatment in 90 days.
It sounds as though you need adjuvant therapy with radiation therapy. I would seek an appointment to initiate radiation sooner than later.
