Do bad kidney make eyes red?
It is possible that a disease can cause both red eyes and kidney problems -- for instance, lupus. With advanced kidney failure, if a patient does not follow a kidney-failure diet or take meds properly, there can be tiny deposits of calcium and phosphate in the eyes, causing them to be itchy and red.
Of course there are other causes of red eyes, such as infection, that may not be related to kidney disease at all.
