Vitamin B-1212/04/2009 |
I see a massage therapist and she was going to talk to my doctor because she thinks that I might have a low b12 level. I am taking alot of medications (Orencia, Methotrexate, Prednisone, NSAID, Asprine, Pariet, Vit. D, Calcium, Folic Acid, Coversyl, Magnesium, Tiazac XL) I get a blood test every month and my hemaglobin has always been low and beause I have uncontroled RA they tell me it is anemia of chronic disease. I have been reading about it but there seems to be alot of symptoms of it. What are the symptoms of low vitiamin b12 and what test are done to find out if I would have it?
Thank you for your question. The test is a B-12 level coupled with a folic acid level. Unfortunately, there are too many symptoms to list here. Please refer to the links below for additional information.
