Fluid behind ear drum12/28/2009 |
I have had fluid behind my ear drum for more than four weeks. I had had two cycles of antibiotics, two depo shots and two cycles of lasix. The sinus infection has long been gone and the severe case of virtigo has been fixed. The fluid is still present and now I have lost a good portion of my hearing with small attacks of noises being very overwhelming. I now have an appiontment with an ENT but need some help in dealing with the tinnitus and pain in the meantime.
Unfortunately, the treatments that you describe seem very appropriate and thorough. The next option is to consider drainage by your ENT doctor. There really aren't any good home remedies that will help your symptoms.
