Living Donor and Pregnancy01/07/2010 |
If I become a living organ donor, and donate a kidney, am I able to still have a tubal reversal done to have another child? I am 29yrs old.
This is a really interesting question. The final decision about the pregnancy should be between you and your obstetrical provider. Many women who are otherwise healthy do fine with pregnancy, but they do need some closer following during the pregnancy. My best advice is to talk with your provider who really knows your history and discuss it with her/him. What we all want is the best and most healthy outcome for both you and the baby!
