Bleeding and Clotting Disorders |
Neck Pain01/08/2010 |
For the past week, I have been having a throbbing pain at the base of my neck on the right side. It is an inch or so above my clavicle. I am a 51 year old female and am wondering what this is and if it is an area where something else can occur such as a blood clot.
While neck pain is not a common complaint related to blood clots, it is really difficult to say anything more specific in this forum. I would encourage you to follow-up with your regular physician if the symptoms persist or get worse.
