Bleeding and Clotting Disorders |
CBC01/11/2010 |
I am a 57 year old woman in good health. I just had a cbc done and I had a white blood cell count of 5.1 and an elevated precentage of lymphocytes of 45.8%. segs were 44.2%. I am a little bit worried. My doctor had given me a copy of these tests and said everything was okay. Should I be worried and do I need more tests? Thank you very much.
No, you should not be worried. The number that counts is absolute segs and lymphocytes, which are normal at 2295 and 2244 respectfully.
