Testicular Self-Examination01/27/2010 |
At what age should a man start and stop doing testicular self-examinations?
There is no real answer to that question. Men should start after reaching puberty as testicular cancers occur starting in the teens. Later in life the type of testicular cancer changes, Lymphoma of the testicle peaks in the 60's. Non cancerous masses of the testicle or scrotum can likewise be present at any age.
