My question is: Can the One step Plan B, completely mess up my cycle? My period was 12/4/09... had unprotected sex 12/26/09 took plan B 12/28/09 I figured my period was due around end of December into Jan `10.. I am 42 years old. But prior to December, my period, was always off, in October I had it twice..
Emergency contraception can disrupt your menstrual cycle. However, if your period is late you should do a home pregnancy test. If it is negative, you should repeat the test in two weeks, if your period has not started by that time.
