Slight Swelling behind the Wisdom Tooth01/21/2010 |
I am a girl with pretty good dental hygiene practices recently I developed two things. A slight yellow tongue which my doc. says is just caused by mouth breathing and the other is a slight swelling behind my left wisdom tooth. I`m having a ton of allergies so that could be it. I`ve never had any problems with my wisdom teeth, they came in fine dentist seems to think they are fine. I have a dentist app. scheduled for the 1st and was wondering if this is an emergency or if I can wait until then and exactly what to do to keep it from getting bad.
You did not mention any pain associated with the swelling. If it is not painful and does not increase in size, you should be able to wait until your dental appointment. Otherwise, see your dentist earlier.
