Mammogram05/10/2010 |
Last week I had a mammogram. The doctor said I had a benign lymph node in my right breast. They told me to make another appt. in three months for another mammogram. I`m 57 years old. Do I need to worry for the next three months about these results? I don`t take any hormone pills. Thanks.
You should not worry. The standard when lesions are thought to be benign is that repeat imaging be performed in 3-6 months just to assure stability.
