Lymphedema & compression02/10/2010 |
1.5 yrs ago, with my partial mastectomy, I had several lymph nodes removed. Since April,my cervical problems have caused my ulnar nerve to be compressed, pain and pins & needles down my arm. My concern: could this compression of the nerve cause lymphodema, since the lymph system also flows nearby, and it goes through lymph node areas? Thanks.
The nerve compression should not affect the risk for lymphedema.
